Our values and objectives
We aim to provide excellent, safe and accessible health care, supported by teaching and research, that improves the quality of life for patients.
Our four main roles are to:
- provide general hospital services to the adult population of Liverpool
- provide specialised clinical services to Merseyside, Cheshire and beyond, including parts of North Wales and the Isle of Man
- be a centre of excellence for biomedical, clinical and health services research
- teach and train people in health professions
