Did you know that if you are a patient with Glaucoma you can now be seen in Garston at South Liverpool NHS Treatment Centre?
St. Paul’s Eye Unit will be holding Glaucoma Out-patient Clinics in the South Liverpool NHS Treatment Centre in addition to the Royal Liverpool University Hospital NHS Trust. The clinics will be held by specialised teams from St. Paul’s Eye Unit.
This new service started in September 2012.
If you would prefer to attend Garston for future appointments then please contact St. Paul’s Eye Unit on 0151 706 3222.
The new centre has been developed by Liverpool Primary Care Trust (PCT). It forms part of a vision for “A New Health Service for Liverpool”, which involves investing in local health facilities and making services available closer to people’s homes.
The centre already hosts a range of community clinics and specialised treatments, including Ear Nose and Throat (ENT), Dermatology, Audiology and Gynaecology. The centre also accommodates local GP and Dental Practices.
Patients can also be referred from their Family Doctor (GP) for Physiotherapy, X-rays, Blood Testing and Ultrasound.
