Shops and Refreshments
The hospital has facilities for the benefit of you and/or your family and friends. These include:
The W.R.V.S cafes - run by our volunteers, the W.R.V.S offers a wide range of sandwiches, hot and cold drinks and some warm food. They are located on the ground floor, opposite the J and K Clinic and the ground floor of the Linda McCartney Centre
Just Eat Restaurant - provides hot meals, drinks and snacks, available for staff, visitors and outpatients. They are located on the lower ground floor, follow the stairs by the Audiology department.
Costa Coffee - sells sandwiches, hot food and a wide selection of hot and cold drinks. They can be found on the first floor mezzanine (up the escalators)
WHSmiths - sells a wide selection of books, newspapers and magazines, some toiletries, as well as sandwiches, salads and cold drinks. They are on the first floor mezzanine.
Lloydspharmacy - provides most outpatient pharmaceuticaul services and has a small stock of medications and personal hygiene products. They can also be found on the first floor, mezzanine
Stock Shop - sells a range of clothing, shoes and accessories. They can be found on the first floor, mezzaninie.
- Vending machines - dispensing cold drinks, are available 24 hours a day and are located around the hospital
- Free Cash Points - dispense cash free of charge. Located on the first floor, mezzanine and on the ground floor, Linda McCartney Centre
Postal Services
Mail is delivered to all wards each morning. If your friends and relatives are sending post to you while you are in hospital, please ask that they clearly identify your name and your ward on the envelope.
