Dr Conall Garvey has been a Consultant Radiologist at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital since 1986. Though specialising in imaging of the abdomen and pelvis and in cancer imagining, he maintains a wide general expertise in radiology including MR, CT, Ultrasound and plain x-rays. He has been a National Clinical Lead for the Cancer Collaborative and has introduced many modern practices into the Radiology Department which have improved efficiency and the overall patient-focus of the Department. He has been an elected Officer of the Royal College of Radiologist as well as serving a 3 year term as an RCR Council Member and 5 Years terms as an FRCR Examiner. Current research interest include inflammatory and malignant diseased of the pancreas and various aspects of radiology service modernisation/improvement. He has lectured widely both nationally and internationally and has 49 peer-reviewed publications and 9 book chapters.
