Biography
He qualified as a consultant physician in August 2010 and worked as a locum consultant in St James’s University Hospital, Leeds. He moved to the Royal Liverpool Hospital in May 2011. He has been involved in TB/HIV development and research projects in developing countries. He is the departments' lead for the Joint Infectious Diseases/Microbiology Consult Service and Home Intravenous Antibiotic Services. He is also incharge of co-ordinating elective and visiting placements to the department.

Training
He trained as a specialist registrar in infectious diseases and general medicine in Bradford and Leeds. He is a member of the Faculty of Public Health, UK and also trained in public health medicine.
