Biography
Eileen Marks has been a Consultant in Clinical Chemistry and Metabolic Medicine at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital since 1994. She became Clinical Director of Clinical Biochemistry in 2006 and Clinical Director of Blood Sciences in 2008. Dr Marks is an accredited facilitator for the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement and regularly provides Leadership Qualities Framework 360-degree appraisal feedback to NHS managers and clinicians. In 2011 she became Associate Medical Director for Appraisal and Revalidation. Dr Marks is an examiner for FRCPath examinations for the Royal College of Pathologists and is Chair of the Specialty Advisory Committee of Metabolic Medicine for the Royal College of Physicians.
