Biography
Michael Briggs is Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at St. Paul’s Eye Unit. He graduated from The University of Glasgow Medical School in 1986. He received his post-graduate training in Ophthalmology in Glasgow and Liverpool. He was appointed Consultant at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital at the beginning of 2001. This appointment includes Directorship of St. Paul’s Primary Care Clinic. His clinical interests are, in addition to general ophthalmology and cataract surgery, emergency ophthalmology and the medical treatment of retinal disease.
