Leaving a gift in your will

Easy Read Information

This page has information about how you can support the Royal Hospital in your will.

A gift of life

For many people, leaving a gift to charity in their will is a very positive way to plan for the future. After taking care of their family, they tell us that it feels really worthwhile to know a good cause will also benefit from their estate.

For many people, leaving a gift to charity in their will is a very positive way to plan for the future. After taking care of their family, they tell us that it feels really worthwhile to know a good cause will also benefit from their estate.

R Charity at the Royal and Broadgreen Hospitals depends heavily on the generosity of our supporters' gifts in their wills. With your support, we can create a world-class service for the people of Liverpool and the wider region, allowing us to go beyond even the NHS offer of care. Every penny will be gratefully accepted and well spent.

By leaving a gift in your will, you'll help our patients and their families for generations to come. If you and your family would like it, we can also discuss options for leaving a message thanking you in your memory in the new Royal Hospital too.

You can make a will, or add a gift to R Charity to your existing will, by talking to a solicitor. (Please ask your solicitor to let us know in advance about any gift to us that you add to your will - we'd love to thank you for your generosity). Also, is you'd like to talk to one of our Consultants about leaving a gift to R Charity for a particular specialism or ward, please ring us on 0151 706 3153 (weekdays 9-5) or you can email us in Fundraising to find out more - we'll be delighted to put you in touch with one of our experts here.

Thank You

R Charity : a registered charity

R Charity (Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust Charitable Funds) is a registered charity, charity number 1047988. Registration with the Charity Commission means we must maintain clear accounting records and prepare annual accounts. We must also prepare a trustees’ annual report to accompany our accounts. This is very important to us as it ensures all our activities and finances are transparent and scutinized by the Charity Commission as well as a independent auditor.

Details of the charity can be found on the Charity Commission website here. Simply click on the Search for a Charity page and then enter the charity number (1047988) into the Charity Search Box and you will be guided to the R Charity details.
