The division of medicine devoted to cancer diagnosis and treatment is called Oncology. Our oncology services are world renowned and we treat most types of cancer. Cancer services works in collaboration with many of our other departments and services within the Trust, and also with other treatment centres such as Clatterbridge, to deliver the most up-to-date care for cancer patients.
Our research into cancer, especially within the specialist cancer centres, such as the Linda McCartney Centre, assists us to treat patients with the most cutting edge developments in cancer care and recovery.
