The unit offers a Consultant-led service, providing specialist dental care on a referral basis, to those who have a physical, sensory, intellectual, mental, medical, emotional or social impairment or disability, or a combination of these factors. We work closely with our medical colleagues throughout the Merseyside region.

We have close links with the Haematology and Hepatology Departments at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital. There is also a shared-care relationship with the Salaried Dental Service.

The unit provides a comprehensive service for Merseyside and Cheshire; Tertiary referrals are also received from other centres in the North West.

Our entrance is on Daulby Street, Liverpool, L3 2PS. There are a limited number of car parking bays for blue badge holders on site and the Q-Park car park is situated opposite the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, where a shuttle-bus service is available for those who require it.
