Easy Read Information

This page explains some of the ways we raise funds for St Paul’s and how you can make a donation.

Help us beat blindness!

The Foundation for the Prevention of Blindness supports the work of St Paul’s Eye Unit. We fund research into new treatments and preventative technologies that can and do change the lives of millions of people around the world, both young and old.

By giving to the Foundation you can support St Paul’s vital research.

Many of our supporters, or their family and friends, have been patients at St Paul’s and would like to leave something in their will as a ‘thank you’ for the life-changing treatment they received.

Legacy giving is a good way to give to The Foundation and St Paul’s as it does not cost you anything during your lifetime.

Of course, it is important that you look after your family and loved ones first, but even by leaving a portion of what remains to St Paul's you can help turn our vision of eradicating some of the most common causes of blindness into a reality.

This leaflet explains how to instruct your solicitor when writing your will. If you have any other questions please get in touch.

Charity fundraising

We are always looking for people to raise funds for us, whether it is through something as dare devil as a sky dive or a more genteel coffee morning or cake sale. We have a number of events we are involved with – please get in touch if you would like to learn more – or let us know what you have planned and how we can support you in your fundraising activities.

If you want like to make a simple donation we would be very grateful. Our Just Giving page is secure and easy to use.
