This page gives you information about the Orthoptic department.

Who we are

We are the only dedicated adult service in the North West. We offer assessment of eye movement, visual performance, double vision and squint. Patients who attend this department are generally referred by another specialist service.

All Orthoptists are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, the independent UK-wide health regulator which sets standards of professional training, performance and conduct for Orthoptists and other health professionals.
