Due to unprecedented pressures on hospital services due to the coronavirus (Covid 19) pandemic normal outpatients services have been suspended. This includes Iron Deficiency Anaemia clinics.
If you have been referred to the Iron Deficiency Anaemia service you will be assessed via telephone consultation and an appointment will be sent to you. Please do not attend the hospital. This will prevent a hospital visit and reduce your risk of contracting the virus.
Instead of telephone follow up as planned you will now receive your results by letter
