The clinical photography team carry out requests on both The Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospital sites.

 

Clinical Photography

All clinical photography is undertaken at the request of clinicians or health professionals and as such consent must be obtained by the requesting clinician or health professional.

If your clinician has asked you to have clinical photographs taken please contact us to book an appointment to attend the studio.

On the day of your appointment please inform main reception of your arrival, so we can come and escort you to our department, please remember to bring your completed consent form with you (which your clinician will have provided).

Clinical Photography is the recording of clinical conditions and is used for diagnosis or for recording a condition during treatment. It is carried out for people who work across our hospital sites.

About Us

Clinical Photographers provide a service supporting patient treatment and care through imaging, documentation, teaching, education and publication.

Clinical photography and videography of patients’ conditions for health records, education, teaching and research are undertaken in all clinical areas such as operating theatres, clinics, wards and the departmental studio based at The Royal Liverpool.
