What we do
Our key aim is to provide first class services to our patients, visitors and staff in line with our vision - to be world class hospitals delivering world class care and services.
We deliver a high standard of front line services with professional staff delivering those services. These include cleaning, portering, catering, laundry, receipt and distribution. We also provide quality accommodation for staff and visitors at both the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen Hospital sites.
We continually audit and review our services to maintain excellent standards to ensure that our patient's experience exceeds expectations.

We have a small in-house team, who deliver fresh bed linen to wards and clinical departments six days a week.
Patients are advised to bring in their own nightwear and towels, however the Trust have a stock available for use in Linen Services if required.
The Trust has accommodation for staff and relatives located on the Broadgreen site, provided by Prima Housing Association. For information relating to nightly/monthly costs please contact the accommodation office.

We have a large Healthcare Cleaning department with over 350 staff employed, to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control. We clean all areas of the hospital from the clinics and ward areas to the public areas and offices to ensure that the environment for our patients, visitors and staff is world class.
Our primary aim is to provide the best cleaning standards possible and we work jointly with all departments, especially infection control, to ensure we are helping to provide a safe environment for everyone to visit and work in. We are proud to be part of the world's first hospital team to be named as a Centre of Excellence for Infection Prevention.
We provide an A la carte catering service called Eatwell to all In-patients who stay with us. This is delivered within the hospital's protected mealtimes at breakfast, lunch and supper. We offer a wide range of choices to accommodate all dietary and cultural requirements and have a flexible quality focused service, to ensure that the nutritional needs and meal experience as a whole is a pleasant and enjoyable one for all patients.
We also operate the staff and visitor's restaurant located on the lower ground floor, which offers a full breakfast, healthy snacks, lunch specials, refreshments and treats throughout the day.
Our porters play a vital role in welcoming, and accompanying most of our patients around the hospitals to have their tests and treatment. We believe a friendly face and a welcoming smile improve all patients' experience whilst in the hospital can go a long way in alleviating any anxiety a patient may have. We are proud to say we have the friendliest and most knowledgeable porters around, if you require any assistance on your visit please ask one of our porters who will be happy to help you as much as they can.

We are proud to be working in partnership with the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University NHS Trust, supplying all of the healthcare cleaning, catering and Portering services across both of the hospital sites.
