Rebecca Varnouse recently received the 'Physiotherapy Practice Placement Educator Excellence Award’ for providing an outstanding level of guidance and support for students on practice placement in the academic year 2017/2018. She was nominated by a student who supervised in A&E.

“It was a lovely surprise! I was nominated by a 2nd year student that I had on placement in A&E. I also got to meet up with several other students that I had been educator to at the graduation ceremony,” said Rebecca on receiving the award.

"It really meant a lot to receive lovely feedback from the students, and also their parents. It made me realise that being a clinical educator and how you treat your students can really have a lasting impression."

The NHS has put in place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public as normal. If you have a hospital appointment then you should attend as planned.
