Outpatient appointments are an especially important part of the service provided by Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We see thousands of outpatients every year from Merseyside, Cheshire and beyond and our aim is to provide you with the best possible care.
By letting us know you are unable to keep your appointment you not only help us to save money but also allow another person to be seen.
How do I reschedule or cancel an outpatient appointment?
If you have a New outpatient appointment that was booked through the NHS e-Referral Service by you or your General Practitioner, click here.
If you have received a text message to confirm your appointment, there is a link to reschedule or cancel. If you select cancel your referral will be reviewed by a health professional and you may be discharged in line with our Patient Access Policy
If reschedule is selected, we will book the next available appointment for you.
Alternatively, you can call the Patient Access Service team on 0151 706 5555 between 09:00am and 4:30pm Monday – Friday.
Waiting times on the appointment line can be up to 30 minutes at peak times (Monday and Tuesday AM) so please be patient.
