"Community Fundraisers - reflecting the spirit of R Charity"
Community Fundraising
Some of our most enthusiastic fundraisers are those who are from the local community. They know the Royal and see the value of the new hospital to their neighbours, their family and friends and maybe one day, themselves.
There are lots of ways to raise funds for R Charity, whether it be at work, with friends and family, on your own, or in a group.
A cake sale, quiz, a party or a walk ? Your event can be just about anything, and our community fundraising team are on hand to support you.

We have a number of fundraising committees made up of dedicated people who give up some of their valuable spare time to support our cause. Together they organise a range of fabulous events every year.
The Royal Liverpool Hospital is at the heart of Merseyside and so as part of that community we would love you to get involved. Whatever you decide to do, you can be certain that your support and dedication will go a very long way to helping improve the treatment and care for many in Merseyside and beyond.

R Penny Appeal supporters come from far and wide from IOM and Jersey to Liverpool. They bring their pots back every 6-12 months when they come for their check-up, send a cheque, or contact us for collection.

R Charity : a registered charity
R Charity (Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust Charitable Funds) is a registered charity, charity number 1047988. Registration with the Charity Commission means we must maintain clear accounting records and prepare annual accounts. We must also prepare a trustees’ annual report to accompany our accounts. This is very important to us as it ensures all our activities and finances are transparent and scutinized by the Charity Commission as well as a independent auditor.
Details of the charity can be found on the Charity Commission website here. Simply click on the Search for a Charity page and then enter the charity number (1047988) into the Charity Search Box and you will be guided to the R Charity details.
