We are all looking forward to the day when lockdown eases and we can St Paul's staff at the endget out and about again after being stuck in for so long. The last year has been tough, so what better way to lift our spirits than a bit of fresh air and a bike ride through the beautiful landscape the Wirral peninsula provides!

Besides, cycling is a great form of exercise and also a great way to spend time with family, friends and like-minded people.

We would like you, your family or friends to join #TeamStPauls for the iconic Liverpool Chester Bike Ride.

The event is a non-competitive bike ride experience that appeals to all ages and abilities, with a range of distances from 5 miles for families with children and beginners, 25 miles to Chester or 50 miles to Chester and back – for the more seasoned cyclists there is even a 100 miles route.  However, most of us are looking to complete the 50 miles at a leisurely pace!

It’s our 150th Anniversary and this year more than ever we need to raise vital funding to ensure our research can continue to help those affected by sight-loss  now and into the future.

To join our team we just ask that you raise a minimum of £80 and we will provide you with a #TeamStPauls cycling shirt, kindly sponsored Professional Tree Surgeons, and an online sponsorship page to share to make raising money all that much more easier.

To register, please contact the fundraising team on 0151 706 4291 or email foundation@liverpoolft.nhs.uk
